There are two options for kite rentals. For every option we have drawn up the following rentals rules because of the risk of accidents in the case of those who are not yet in full control of the kite.

Minimum skill level:

- Independence in terms of safety, i.e. you do not represent a danger for yourself or others!

- Independence in terms of practical experience, i.e. you know how to prepare your equipment and ride without assistance. You know how to navigate back alone in case of simple problems.
- You know cruising in both directions
- You don’t “crash” your kite often
- You know the safety and circulation rules ashore and at sea

These criteria correspond to IKO kiteboarder level 3.
If you have not followed a kite course in our school, we recommend you to book at least a 2-hours session to check your level.

A rental contract is personal.
It gives the right to use the kite equipment available to the named person only.
Rental time:

- Minimum rental time is half a day
- Rental starts as soon as the equipment leaves the school and stops when the equipment has been returned completely
- Rental runs regardless of whether the equipment is used or not because equipment that has been given to somebody can’t be rented to anyone else.

Please note that the material is not insured against loss or destruction. Our instructors will calculate an estimate of cost for you.

Booking:

We strongly advise to book before coming.

Kite or Board Rental:

. Kite (with or without bar): 60% of the rental fees
. Board: 50% of the rental fees

Rental hours:

These correspond to our school hours, i.e. from 10am to 6pm

Care of equipment.
- When equipment is not being used, it must be protected from sun and wind.
- “PURA VIDA” can interrupt a rental contract if we believe that the renter does not take care of the equipment.

Rental options:

1) Day rental: 90US$

2) Rental for several days
- Rental for several consecutive days. Rental rates are therefore more attractive!
- Equipment is booked for the agreed period.
- There is no refund for non-navigable days (no wind or too extreme conditions) or days you decide not to ride.

1 week: 404 US$ With Guroo Kite

2 weeks: 990 US$ With Waroo Pro Kite

2 weeks: 780 US$ With Guroo Kite
